I made my own and glad I tested it. At 8-10 PSI I could hear and feel a huge leak on the rubber boot where it clamped to cylinder head. I never touched anything on the intake, so this is from factory. I tested it because my dads winder seemed snappier / quicker. I hope I can get the new one in without removing steering, going to need a service manual!

dam apex had same issue with the air box too!!!

1.5" PVC pipe and some heat from hair dryer has it almost back in shape. I will see if it holds boost and replace with new one next season (ordered boot but might not be here for a week). There is rubber below clamp now so it might be fine.
