decided to open up chaincase to make sure everything is ok
To my surprise the washer that goes on end of shaft to protect case is missing
Well not missing but pieces everywhere
Is this a special washer or can I just use a stainless washer ?

Likely from just splitting the cases last year to drain fluid
No other damage

When you did fluid change, usually the washer gets "stuck" on thr case itself did you take the washer off tgr case and put it on the shaft? If not it could have just sat in there.

It needs to be same thickness & centre hole needs to be close to size
