I thought I would give this a try. I live in upper Michigan between Munising and Manistique. My goal this winter is to take every trail in the UP.
My next post I wil get a picture of the odometer..

A start of the season. At the H-58 trailhead between Munising and Grand Marais.

Its been a hard start to winter so manly offroading with the Jeep.

I ride alot and take alot of pictures, but I also work alot so my future posts may be inconsistant.

For work I drive a Semi.

I haul paper to Wisconsin and Minnesota mostly.

01/01/2012 130 Miles

Went from Wetmore to Grand Marais and back.

Condtions were great. Trails were ruff until we got to the GM trail system. Good snow and smooth...

Starting miles

The trails had a good base 6''+ then 2-4'' of powder on top..

Gas prices werent to bad...

Nice to see that Shingleton has Gas again...

Total of 130 miles...

The UP definetly has snow...

Snow on the level... Not a drift...

I havent been on the trails around Munising today.
I would guess that there ok..

I rode to Manistique off and on there local trails.. They werent bad thin a few rocks but they have half the snow of Munising..

Tonight im thinking of going for a ride.. if I do I will have pictures..

Hopefully it cools down and starts snowing..

136 Miles

Started in Wetmore Mi at the holiday gas station. Drove through Munising took the North trail along the lakeshore to Marquette. From there we went to Gwinn to Chattam then back to Wetmore.

Trail through Munising wasnt to bad.. alot of sticks from recent logging..

By Au-train the trail went down hill fast. Alot of rocks..

Met the groomer... Trails were smooth but he was doing a good job of hiding the rocks..

Took some trails just to see the conditions...

Ridable but not for me.. Lots of offtrail with great snow...

Then I came across this... Wasnt here this summer..
