Okay, here are my sleds, a 2004 Warrior LE and a 2005 Vector ER (formerly had a 2001 Venture)

Whats the normal temp you run at ? does it jump up and down alot, or stay steady? do u often see temps over 200.... just wondering have u had the temp idiot light come on and seee what the temp was on your guage

Ive never had any overheating problems but am thinking of the digital guage>> never had the light come on .....

Hey bigbigrichie I have the same gauge on mine. It normally runs about 160 deg and with trails that have little lube it runs about 180 deg. I have never had the light come on but have seen 210 deg after I left it run at a long stop.

It runs about 160 on normal riding conditions. Before I added the rear heat exchanger, it would run 200-210 in low snow conditions, i.e. going down an ice covered road.

With the rear heat exchanger, it now rarely exceeds 180 or so in any conditions.

November, 2010, I installed a 136" Ski Doo skid from a 2005 Renegade into the 04 Warrior.

Also installed a new 136" 9969H Camoplast Ripsaw track (fully clipped) and Wahl drivers.

If using wahl or extrovert type drivers, set dimension X1 = 9.63 inches to allow clearance between the front of the rail protectors and the wahl driver teeth.

Tunnel reinforcement for front doo skid mount

Here are a couple pics showing the tunnel reinforcement for the front mount of the doo skid

I used approx 4" x 6" pieces of 1/8 inch thick 6061 Aluminum.

New mounting bracket for rear of doo skid

Here is the new mounting bracket for the rear mount of the doo skid. I removed the stock black steel mounting plates and made new ones the same size out of 1/4" thick 6061 aluminum plates. The old rivets were 7/32 diameter approx, so I used #12 stainless screws with nylok nuts to replace the old rivets when installing the new rear plates.

Wahl drivers mounted on driveshaft

Here is a pic of the new Wahl drivers mounted on the driveshaft. The directions that came with the new drivers were very clear. You will need a press to remove the old drivers and install the new drivers.

Reused idler shaft/wheels from old skid

I removed the idler wheel shaft from the old skid and installed it back into the tunnel as shown in the pic below. Will keep the track from slapping around.

The ski doo bogie wheels were yellow, I painted them with hammered black plastic paint earlier this fall when I went thru the doo skid.

All the skid wheel bearings were inspected/cleaned/regreased or replaced.

I also installed heavier torsion springs, color code green-green. Skidoo part # 509-190-773 (right side) and #509-190-775 (left side).

The stock torsion springs were color code blue-blue-blue. These springs are good for about a 160 lb rider max. The green-green are good for about 210 or so.
