What size drill bit do i need to drill holes in my new track to install studs ?
I see they sell drill bits for this job but they come in two sizes !

Keep in mind...wouldnt recommend a standard drill bit for drilling track for studs. Should use a specific track drilling/porting bit. Just throwing that out there, just in case.

He is using a track cutter jsut didn't know whate size to get. The larger one is correct, my advice is mark your holes and drill all at once. That bit will get warmed up and go through it like butta.

cutter size

if you are looking for the easy way use 5/16 cutter if you want the best job which helps prevent less cord damage use 7mm cutter if using the 7 mm put your hex or tork bit in drill and screw them in. it helps deflection and you will have less pullouts. pro drag racers have been doin this for days.
