Thanks. That's interesting, could you explain that a little? It does work fine sometimes for 3 or 4 days (30 to 40 starts) and then fails again.

Any idea as to why it will start when l turn the clutch slightly? Would that indicate the starter sticking maybe?

Well, I have almost 20,000 Km on mine with original slides... so I'd say that's pretty good!

I'm assuming you're swapping a track from your MP... So will a 144" track fit the TF? Never mind.. I see you got the GT with the 144" track.

You'll like the new sled for trail riding - I have the TF. I do miss the higher seating position on the TF though, and the TF is still noisy at some speeds; especially below 60kmph. What's this Barn of Parts Mechanical Power Steering you mentioned? Thanks.

Replaced the switch today and it's all good now!

If it has the original 5" skis they are inadequate in snow, on any kind of soft trails, etc. for this heavy machine.. I switched mine out for the 7" Powder Hounds and shimmed the rear of the rubber and it's a different machine now in most conditions.

I have a code 85 showing on my Venture Lite. It came on first and then went away after being parked o'nite but now it seems to be back to stay. I checked the usual culprit with it being unplugged and that is okay, and the wiring that I can see seems okay so I'm suspecting that the switch...

The other thing I would think about there is the possibility of striking that pipe extension.. especially if off trail. All the best. Ps. My mod still works like a charm,
