    copper donut mileage?

    When I did the doughnuts I also did both y pipes with stainless. It's backfiring again now but it waits a lot longer to do it and it is louder then when the doughnuts were shot.

    Great thread because I'm in the same boat. Did not know that extroverts should be used with the extensions. You would have thought with the power this sled has they would have came on the sled to begin with.

    I have them..bout 4k for millage..sled is loud as hell now all of a sudden. Won't know what's up till summer when I pull it apart. I think it's further back this time.

    I ride trails only,sometimes a little icy. My stock track with the 144 studs was fine for 4500 miles . Now I have some pull throughs. Since I have to buy a track I don't want to spend the money for studs the same time ,that's why I'm thinking the way that I am. I was thinking the 136 would...

    Trying snowtrackers. Toe out adjustment?

    BTW you should have just a little toe out. That way when going forward the slack in the steering will allow the skis to be straight..in the long run you want them straight when moving.

    Can't be pvc. I have made them out of steel pipe before and they do work. But now I just run studboy duals.

    2000 on my copper ones..all is fine and would never not use them. I replaced the y pipes with stainless also when I did the doughnuts..had to.

    I have mine out and love it,,but I'm only 150 at best..now my son who weighs like 230 hates it..good..keeps his fat azz off it..lol.

    Glad to hear the newer ones are..on my 06 they were not. Pretty sure the new ones i just put on have 6205 bearings.

    Yep! I got the tip to use the old bars with the wiring deal..it sure does work and the info to do that came from here! But like you say you can rewire the 06 without the kit...the wiring kit made it that much easier for me.

    Yep. There was a update kit for the 06's. It came with wiring to change things the way the guys are talking about. I used the wiring kit with the old bars and grips..man do they get hot..I never go over half and no probs over the years.I gave away the updated bars and grips.
