I think the reason they don't have a high horsepower 4 stroke is because it would be $20 grand and their isn't that big of a market to make it profitable. It would have to super light and super tough to sell to the masses. I would be in that market myself, tho.
Wash and dry. Fluid Film everything metal. Grease. Buy corn free fuel hi test. Add Stabil then gas. Let run for 5-10 minutes. Splash a little SeaFoam in the tank and top off all fluids. Put dolly's under track and skis and move to the corner of the garage. Drink beer and remember all the good...
There's a local to me dealer with a 2011 Apex XTX brand new for $11999. And a new 2011 Phazer RTX for $6799. I suspect those will be there for awhile at those prices.
The AXYS is a refinement of the Pro Ride chassis. It addressed the complaints owners had about the previous design. Nothing more, nothing less.
After the debacle they had with previous "all new designs" and the ProCross mess Cat had, I would venture to say manufactures are gun shy about...
Check out the midsize Ranger 800 if size is a concern. That thing can do most things fairly well and fit in places other sxs's wish they could. They selectable rear diff won't rip up the yard either. I'll also mention that it tops out at 55mph but gets there scary fast for something that big.
I compare it to driving a sports car, say a Dodge Viper, then hopping in a BMW sedan. Nothing wrong with a BMW sedan at all. Great, smooth power. Something you'd want to drive everyday to work and use to get after it on the weekend a little bit, maybe take it to the track and run some 1/4's with...
It'd be great to be able to ride an AXYS before plunking down 13 g's on one. :o| I think it's going to be a home run and Poo is going to sell a lot of them tho.
I'd like to spend some seat time on a Viper too, 'cuz that RTX LE is calling my name from a distance...I've checked out the XTX my...
Apex is faster on top end...nothing pulls hard than that 4 banger...anyone with seat time on an ape will tell you that. 0-60 it'd be close...who ever hooks up better would win. They are close, power wise.
When from Ape to ProR Switchback this season. Road my GT for 4 seasons and would buy a 2015 "tank" today if I road groomed trails. That's what this chassis was designed to due is ride big wide trails faster than anything out there and it does it better than anything else out there...and is dead...
Right!
Come on Yamaha...build us something cool! :o|
Just don't hire Doo's graphic designers for MY 15...Rotten Ronnie from Wack Arnolds. :drink:
Define low milage...mileage you mean??? How many miles?
I read this forum and HCS daily. There is good information from real world users about all 3 brands that interest me, and a little bit about Doo too! ;):D
I'm only interested in the newest versions of each, as I only buy new sleds...
