Use a drill bit. Find the right size grind off point, wrap a little tape around it because that is the side you hammer on. Then tap bushing out.

I took them down to .150. It caused no problems and the saying is the tighter the sweater the better.

1702-491 (NEW 22 WITH OIL HOLE) is the one I used. Right or wrong I just replace top gear. Put 3 or 4 oz more oil than called for and don't over tighten chain.

You definitely have joined the STGBC. If you run that gear any longer you will be a member of the FTGBC. I would up grade to the new gears with the oil holes.

I don't think so. I started to notice a vibration in my right foot when I would get up to 90 mph and higher. I had this before on other sleds. It was either some bearing gone or belt (some center cogs gone) or I put secondary back together not aligning balancing marks. Everything look good so...

I have the hurricane oringinal 240/270/290 trail muffler bundle. I mostly ran 290 tune. Just wondering has anyone upgraded from this to the 300 bundle? If so, what did you have to buy and was it worth the upgrade?

Do you or anyone know how they compare in times and shift curve to the Yamaha and or the Team clutches?

I ordered a 22 gear without oil hole. I just phone my dealer to see if it was in and he said they are back order now also. Sucks! You yammy boys got them all. Anyone want to sell their's ? :D

This is very interesting for me because I am gearing up to the 22 gear. I could only get the 1702-395 gear with no oil holes. The other one is back ordered until April. I drilled 2 holes in my 21 tooth gear. Do I need to drill any in this one?

Checked mined today and it was also rubbing. So tighten up zip tie also added a couple more and put velcro fuss on. Good find guys

I purchased the Hurricane trail muffler tune bundle with flasher. Do I need to buy different weights,map sensor, and BOV to run the stock muffler bundle?
