I would seriously a look at the new Impulse Pump Gas Turbo w/ stand-a-lone fuel system - can run 15-17 lbs of boost depending on elevation. Unbelievable power and good fuel economy too! I am running a PL Turbo with a claimed 270hp and the Impulse set up feels like it has quite a bit more than...
I met up with Paul in Revy over the weekend...all as I can say is "WOW" - the new Impulse P-Gasser is incredible. This definitely raises the bar in pump gas turbos.
Kinger - I believe the fuel management ECU is only being used on Impulse Turbo set-ups..
I thought about putting grips on the front two holes, but the foot pockets are pretty tight as it is. After trying it...I actually prefer not having traction up there!
I haven't got out with the M-10 yet, but going out for 3 days this weekend...I'm sure I will love it...especially combined...
New Nytro Board w/incorporated M-10 Mounts...***It's done...
OK...so I just finished installing the M-10 skid with my latest creations Everything worked out perfectly...thanks to Trevor at Mac's Machine in Sicamous for the specs on the 159 skid w/162" track...and thanks to the internet for the...
So...I used to have Better Boards on my sled, but they cracked after about 10 rides. I e-mailed them to see if they would do anything for me, but never heard anything back...so I made my own and incorporated an M-10 mount into them so that all my M-10 mounting brackets could stay outside the...
I changed up the intake assemble too...I made it flexible so you don't crush a filter in the event of a roll-over. I hate trial and error!!
Now with the flexibility in the intake...it self cleans with vibration...
It's definitely noisier on the trail, but once your in fresh...it's way quieter from a riders perspective.
I TIG welded the tunnel dump onto the stock header pipe, but will work on an easy install assemble for those that don't have the tooling.
I plan on manufacturing the whole kit, but...
I made a weld bung out of 3/4" solid aluminum round stock (1/2" long) drilled it out and tapped it with a 1/8" NPT tap... then TIG welded it centered on the hole I drilled in the charge tube. It gave me more meat to thread the barbed fitting into. It may be overkill, but I'm an overkill kind of...
Re: tapping intercooler?
Putting the fuel regulator boost line into the charge tube is easier and totally fail safe. I don't think there is a totally safe way to drill and tap the intercooler without taking it out of the sled...just my 02 cents
