'06 Apex sometimes idles low...almost sputtering...

Did you check the TPS. I was told by my dealer that they have been finding some bad ones. I was told that some are intermittent.

Reinstalling clamps on y-pipe to flex pipe

I just re-checked mine 2 weeks ago and 3500 miles later (after doing it the wrong way according to you) and the clamps are as tight as when I replaced the donuts. I had to purchase a new clamp because I lost one when the donut went bad. The new clamp would not tighten properly on any of the...

Reinstalling clamps on y-pipe to flex pipe

I doubt you will need to replace the pipes. The clamps can stretch and can also wear into the pipes a little. You need to grind a little off the collar to allow the clamps to properly fit and tighten around the pipes. Clean the bolts and clamp threads real good before re-assembly. Also, add...

HELP !! My 2009 "TY recommended mods" beat by a st

Keep in mind not all the tach's are properly calibrated from the factory. Allen form Ulmer told me that he has seen some up to a couple hundred RPM's off. I have the Drag-n-fly’s and my sled runs real strong up at 11000 RPM’s.

What does everyone have for ski's on their Apex...

After 2 years with the Pilots I went back to the Stockers and made a set of the Dartless plates. I am now perfectly happy with the way my sled handles. I only wish my sled handled this good from day one.

    " Feels 100 lbs lighter !" Arrr!!

I totally agree. Last weekend my buddy on an MXZ 800, hit a small bump between 80 & 90 mph that launched his sled and its now totaled leaving him with a broken collar bone. He always commented that my sled is much more stable than his at higher speeds.

    RE: Aftermarket Exhaust pipes

I have the Excell which gives you 2 to 3 HP on the top end. About 11 to 15 lbs weight savings and louder exhaust note.
