'06, and yeah

I just put a new cobra 1.352 track on with 144 picks, I was told by a Yamaha dealer to add extra protecters to the top of the tunnel to keep the picks from hitting the exhaust and now the track lugs wont clear up top. What do I have to do to make this track clear?

A 2006 apex er with a few goodies and a 1.25" predator

Im looking for the best picks to get maximum traction on ice and on the trail. Ive been looking at running either 144 or 192 with double backers in the center and some singles also on the sides. What would be a good pattern to run with that setup? Thanks in advance for any help!

Well if you're not losing any top end then that sounds like the better way to go, the extra traction in the start would be nice

I think I'm gonna go with the 1.25" predator. I've been hooked on radar runs so I don't wanna loose to much speed. Thanks for the info guys!

I'm looking to put a new track on my '06 apex er this year, I've been doing alot of trail riding, lake racing, radar runs, etc.. but I'm also into taking off through the powder every once in a while too. I've been looking into a few different options but want to get some other opinions, so what...

I just put one on my '06 and there was plenty of slack in the cables on that too, no cutting wire tie's or anything.

I'm gonna be doing riding from groomed trails to un-groomed, to a little bit of powder riding, all pretty aggressively though.

I'm looking to throw a set of aftermarket ski's on my '06 Apex er, what brand and model would you guys recommend and what kind of improvements in handling are you getting? Thanks, JoshSaxton97 :yam:

Yeah, you would think they would make it easier to change, but I guess if it's only supposed to be changed every 10,000 miles then it doesn't need to be easily available.
