I think I'm going to try a new TPS, but when we run the diagnostic mode it seems fine. I have a 2007 Yamaha Phazer that kind of acted the same but the TPS was obviously no good, the number was all over the place.

It has sent a code yes, so throttle has nothing to do with it? It's either the cable or the switch at the throttle body?

Also computer is setting a tors code.

Yes when it's engaged properly, but understanding is if it's just something on and off real quick like a bad switch or poorly routed or adjusted cable it will make sputter or hesitate back fire. Everything else has been checked and or felt with. Has a programmer and new exhaust donuts and...

Adjusted cable and it still backfires and stumbles won't accelerate much past 100kmh. I wondering if there is a switch in the throttle that is bad. I have three other Yamaha sleds and they all have a distinct click when you press the throttle but the nytro does not.

From other threads sounds like the corrosion can affect them both ways. Hand warmers on full blast and thumb wer off. My son drives the sled, so I will get him to clean it up and give it a go. Thanks

Installed new rsi hand warmers last year near the end of the year. They worked great, second time out this year and they are stuck on full heat. Handlebar adjuster does nothing. Low high mid nothing changes it just full on melt down to the point it was melting the grips. We are on a trip so had...

I put them on my 21 xtx se and have found the work well no darting and hold a line well no push but now the steering is quite heavy. I'm thinking of trying the stingray mods sping and bop mechanical steering next winter.

Ok found the problem a bad wire coming out of the key switch it looks like someone tied into it for a heated faceshield.

That didn't do anything. I really think I may have fried it when checking it for power. I'm going to buy another one tomorrow just to eliminate that.

So you are saying I should be switching the blue, white and the red, white wires in the plug on top of the relay?

There's power at the top single one all the time and the bottom two have power with switch on. All three have power to them with the switch on and cranking. But no starter crank unless I jump the terminals.
