I assumed its never been cleaned. OK I'm about ready to ride as long as it is "normal". Where's the snow?

How dirty are your oil screens? I just bought a 2009 with under 3k on it. I removed and cleaned the oil screen but was surprised of all of the metal and dirt it collected. Defiantly something I will clean every oil change. When I drained the oil it was nice and clean with no metal in it.
