Seems that the wiring harness chafes away and grounds out on the frame.Its where the harness is held on down by the toehold.Turn the wire and check it.Tape it up if its not the bearing.

I had this problem on my warrior. Turned out the wiring sleeve vibrated and wore a hole through the harness and grounded out on the frame.Its where the wiring harness is held down by the bearing on the frame near the toe hold.Pulled it out,wrapped it up and its fine.FYI
