I had a 1.6 Ice cobra track (no studs) put on my 2014 XTX this summer. At 15-20 MPH I'm hearing a slapping noise coming from the drive shaft. Goes away when i go over 20MPH. I'm going to get a better look at it this morning but I was hoping for some insight. My fear is I didn't do enough...

I just got an email from WRP and apparently they sold out the seats to "Seats Concepts." I've got an email in to the to see what the deal is.

For those of you that added a couple of inches to the xtx seat were you able to add it using the OEM seat cover or did you have to add more material? I have an upholsterer who can do but hasn't seen the seat yet, he things I will need to add material. I'd like to go up two inches.

Did you get better mileage/range on your SW? I do t recall what I got on mine but it was considerably less than my Apex LTX. If they made the Viper 100% yamaha with the Apex engine I'd jump on it. I just feel like Yamaha took a step back by building with AC.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to inspect the chaincase. How are people draining it? Using an extractor or cracking the case a little and letting it drain out? Seems like it could be messy.

A couple weeks ago I picked up a 2017 RTX with 35 miles. Last weekend I completed the break in and now I'm doing the engine and chain case oil. I got the oil drained, filter came off with the gasket. I drained from both holes. With the filter there is a copper washer and a rubber o ring, where...

I did remove the seat but I don't recall seeing these. Where would they go? I looked at the parts diagram and it calls for two protector things part number 8FR-2476U-00-00.

Hey guys thanks for the replies. I'm now convinced it didn't come from the Apex, I found a match on the other side of the garage. I have no clue what it came from but I feel confident the Apex is back together with all her pieces.
