My sled has that track and it still eats sliders worse than any other sled I've owned (first Yamaha).

Did you let the drive axle clutch side bearing "self centre" before you tightened the allen screws?(assuming its the same as my Vector) Put everything without tightening the allen screws and give the sled a few burps on the trackstand to let it go where it wants to be,then tighten the screws...

If its an 05 it will have a proaction suspension,not a monoshock.Your manual is possibly for an 06?My 05 Vector has a proactive suspension. AFAIK,anyways!TTYL
