I loved my phazer! After 2.5 seasons I sold it and bought a brand new leftover 2010 TNT 600 for last season. I sold it in March. The thing cornered like it was on rails, but Ski-doo clutching sucks and I was never really happy with the performance with the crappy clutching. If you are...
Hey Guys,
I hope you all had a good winter and got in lots of riding. So I need some help... I am playing with the idea of buying another Phazer if I can get a good deal. I'm not a big fan of the Fox Floats so I was looking at a 2011 Phazer GT. I would send the front shocks out for a...
Bought a left over 2010 TNT 600 (carb, not etec)... so far I like it, but can't say it's any more fun than the Phazer. For the money I got for it, I'm wishing I had kept it as a spare. Oh well, live and learn I guess...
It's a vicious cycle... belt dust gets on pants, clean side panels, dirty pants rub and make side panels dirty, add in more belt dust and repeat. You need to clean the side panels AND wash your riding pants to help minimize the issue!
When I got my new white sled after selling my Phazer, my...
I never used a stand that goes under the rear bumper, just raised it with a strap hung from the ceiling when I wanted to work on it. I would think you would be able to use any stand that worked with the stock bumpers.
As far as price, try www.froogle.com or amazon.com. I think I ended up...
I had both the original steel bumper and the GYTR bumper and the snow flap mounts broke off of both of them. After that, I tried the Skinz protective gear bumper... the snow flap mount is a solid piece of aluminum and is much more stout. You can find them here...
Cannondale, Todd and I Put on 180 miles this past weekend up in Ironwood. How good is the snow down by you? Todd and I have a trip to Houghton scheduled but maybe we will skip it and ride locally? How much are you going to be able to get out and how much of the trails are open?
Ok, sorry to hijack but I have a similiar riser for sale if anyone is interested? It is black, 2.5 inches, and made by PowerMadd. Looking to get $25 plus shipping. Thanks, and sorry to be off topic!
Other than spring preload and limiter strap, there is only one adjustment. The rear clicker shock is compression only adjustable and that is it. Check the manual for the range of clicks on the rear and start at full soft and then add more compression damping if needed(i.e. turn in the screw a...
I looked into this a year or two ago. The Nytro shocks will NOT fit on the Phazer. Not only are they longer, but the mounting eyes on the bottom are wider and would have to be machined down to fit in the mounting brackets on the Phazer A-arms.
Just my two cents, but if you are riding the Phazer hard, then you should only expect to get about 15 or 16mpg. At least that is what I normally averaged on the trail. There is yellow warning light when the gauge hits one bar.
As some of you know, I jumped ship this year to try something different! I hope I don't regret it? Anyhow, just wanted to say I miss this site and all of the helpful people. I've been using another sled site to try to get help and information about my new sled and it sucks compared to TY...
