    TY Demo 08 Review

Re: Prelim 08 Review You had me EXTREMELY excited there for a second, until I figured it had to be a typo. Nice write up, how long did you ride each sled?

    2008 lineup

Yamaha is making progress every year, and no matter how good the 2 strokes get, people will continue to buy Yamaha 4 strokes, in both the mountain and trail segment. It doesnt matter how good the XP chassis is either, as long as people keep putting turbos/superchargers on these things, Yamaha...

    2008 lineup

You think Yamaha is sleeping? Wow. I'm kinda in shock over this statement, its completely baseless. Unless I'm misstaken, Yamaha has introduced more new iron since the RX-1 than all the other OEM's combined, they're not sleeping dude, they're gaining ground a voracious rate. If anyone need to...

    DOO XP Verse Nitro RTX

Well, like I said, I'll believe it when I see it. I just dont see these weights as realistic. Think about this, if Doo could chop this much weight off of a production sled, then why does the 440 still weigh 435lbs? Why havent they incorporated some of these weight saving ideas into thier race...

    500cc bashee?

I saw that this morning and about flipped. Then, I started looking real close at it, its a photoshop, a good one, but a photoshop nonetheless. Look at what month that issue is, can you say "April fools"? I'll believe when I see followup coverage.

    Poll 136" or 144" Kits

A Nytro RTX with a 136"x15"x1.25" Predator would be my choice.

    DOO XP Verse Nitro RTX

The 500SS's 600cc engine only makes about 104 HP, thats all it ever made, thats why Doo markets it in the 500cc class. The new Nytro makes 130+HP, making the HP differential between the two quite a bit more than 10-15. As far as the weight, sub 400lbs dry with a liquid 600 seems more like...

    DOO XP Verse Nitro RTX

Sorry, I dont know jack about F1 cars. From what I could find on the web, Valeo is extremely close to production versions of the camless engine. We'll see.

    DOO XP Verse Nitro RTX

Just a note on this, there is hope for the very immediate future. Several companies are developing electricly controlled, solenoid operated valvetrains, I think the design was pretty much pioneered for automotive use by Valeo. Basically a valvespring holds the valve closed, and the valve is...
