I will say you guys got lucky, or I got a bad unit. It only works about half the time. I went out to their shop in NY and had them install it. It will literally only work half the time, and constantly give me the sense that the bars wanna pull to the right. I let go of the bars and the sled...

I'm interested as well. I put a GSE Performance unit in my 2018. What a POS. Waste of money.

Sleds back together. New plug is soft, much different than the one I pulled out. Put high temp silicone sealant on it. Put in the Polaris blue chaincase lube. I hope it stays blue, because there is literally no smell to it at all.

New plug didn't arrive. Will be here Monday. Are the magnets already in the plug, or are they separate and need to put them in the plug?

Just checked the old rubber plug. Hard like a hockey puck. New rubber magnet coming today, and will compare.

This is what I will be doing going forward. I had Amsoil chaincase fluid in there. Took Knapps advice and ordered Polaris. Will check my 25 winder when I service it.

Well, I went on my Quebec trip for 17 days. I parked my 2018 Sidewinder in the garage, and when I got back there was a small puddle of gear oil on the left side of the sled. I was like WTF? I unscrewed the check bolt on the chaincase cover and nothing. Tore it apart, inspected both covers...

On our Quebec trip which just ended, my buddies 2024 SRX had a secondary spring break. Stock spring. Limped it to a dealer and had it fixed. Gonna carry a spare spring with me from now on. Trip was 2,640 miles total.

A charging cord and a power cord are different. A charging cord USB type is 5v, a power cord is 12v. To get it to run you will likely need a power cord.

Here is my chain on my 18 when it had 2800 miles on it, new. EFI skate did not do this.

My 2018 has been flawless. The 22 has had issues, now with a going voltage regulator.
