So I did a track swap and the brake has been off the sled for about 2 months. I've been working on it when I can. Today I went to put the brakes on, and I see the pads are closed. I know someone must have hit the break, but what I don't know is how to re-open it. I don't want to have to...
Sweet looking se, and i love the tunnel, nice and original! Look forward to seeing what else you do to it. I see you didn't put any extra idlers after the stretch? I just put oft's 136 kit on mine, and bought 2 ulmer wheels with the mount kit. Bolts right into the rear swing arm. Might be a...
6 coats of billet is quite a lot no? I've never taken it that far as I chose to do it by hand. I'm not sure how bushs reacts with the drill, but by hand one coat of bushs is equivalent to three with the billet. Maybe the perfect recipe is..... Wet sand 800 up tp 2000, 2 coats bushs and 2 coats...
Bushes aluminum polish is by far the best. I bought the billet to try it, and compared to the bushes it's garbage. Not even close at all. I will vouch for this stuff as I'm doing my rails with it now and have done my tunnel. Comes off so easy compared to the billet and shines way easier. Much...
Do you know how much just the seat and their seat frame weighs? I wish somebody would make a rear bracket for the stock seat for like 50 bucks.
Im working on this right now. I think it would look real good. I'll make one for myself and if guys are interested I could make a few more. I'm...
Oft kit was so easy to install, and shipped very quickly. If you want to go a little cheaper, try Hartman which are good, but no tip up. I believe muffin works also had the kits.
I am currently stretching mine. I got the oft kit, so 350+ new cobra track for 485. Plus your time. So you are looking at just under a grand. I hope it was worth it lol!
This is going bad lol. Got about half drilled out, and the bit snapped. I can thread the bolt in about 3 turns, now I don't think I can get this bit out, I'm thinking thread it in as much as I can, and build up with washers on the outside of the chain case cover. I don't want to do this though...
No I don't have one that small, and I already drilled a little hole slightly off center to try and spin it out with a flat head. Hard to explain but I've done it this way many times before. I don't think I can use an ez out now since the hole is off centre
