get the 2 front skis off the ground and check for wear in a arm bushings if they were not replaced I am sure there going to need replacing. use the bronze bushings. generally just the normal wear items. there are no suprises with these machines.

I have a 11 apex xtx and all you have to do is contact star suspensions and update your suspension to there modified version. it will be the best $300 dollars you spend on the xtx. Yamaha should have designed it like this. great transfer and the suspension actually strokes the way it should...

the difference is night and day between stock and star. transfer and ride take this sled to a new level. for $300 its a very well made kit. makes you wonder why Yamaha did not design the suspension this way.

The turbo cat guys are eager to run against non turbo sleds but are not too cocky if they meet up with another boosted sled. I seen a flashed cat line up with a boosted apex xtx this weekend and it was not close. the cat went down hard. guy was not happy but was running against his equal.
