    Trail riding

Oh I noticed you meant rear. same thing but just have someone top it out so no weight on shock. I do it myself by pushing up on running board while changing air pressure in rear shock. If your 250 lbs id say right about 150 psi in rear track shock. Find sweet spot by going 2 pounds at a time in...

    Trail riding

You ideally want to check air pressure at temperature you ride at as air fluctuates with temp. If you set it in heated garage it will read lower when it cools off out side. There is no accurate way to measure air pressure when its sitting on ground. The slightest weight change on shock ramps of...

    Front Skid Shock Relocation Mod

I have air shock in front track shock and it gets alot of trail trash thrown at it. Mine is all nicked up from stuff hitting it. I just ordered and received the zero pro to replace it from newer sled.($82.00 brand new no spring) The front track shocks from 2012 to 2015 are shorter and from...

    Rear shock air pump

You can buy digital air pumps for 50.00 I like the digital is easier to see with my older eyes:) Ditto on being suspended. Any weight on shock will change the reading . id say 130 to 150 psi depending on you weight for rear shock.

    Need rail info please

12 to 15 should bolt right into your 141 skid. 16 and up have longer front shock and higher mounting point for front arm where it goes onto rails. all years 141 to 162 use 3 pitch track so no driver change needed.

    Mohawk or CA Pro Ski

Ive tried 6 different sets skis.Mohawks are best for all around and easier steering and good trail manners on the procross or yamacat.

Rear skid shocks, eye to eye measurement.

I have 16 shocks in my 15 162. The rear shock bolted right in and the front track shock is longer. All I had to do is drill new holes to mount the longer front track shock in the 15 rails . It lays shock down more of an angle.

    Trail ride?

A 153 gives you more track options. I picked up set of ice age 153 rails for 130.00 on ebay. Im thinking of trying the 1.75 back country 153 track, whenever I finally wear out my 2.25 162 The 153 rails will bolt right onto the 162 arms. 141 and up all same arms.. WEll except for 2016 and newer...

    Trail ride?

I trail ride a 162. I absolutely love it. I did make changers. like sway bar but its not absoulutley necessary. My buddy bought one and I told him he was crazy until I rode it. I went up next day and bought one myself. I ride off trail too. Its hooked up all the time like having picks and...

    2014 Viper Front End Upgrade

I have switched to to new style spindle and I can say for sure it lays over way easier and more predictably than stock spindles. The new style a arms dont clear many shocks so keep that in mind. If you have remote reservoirs

Rear Suspension Mono Shock RA issue.

I second that kit from Barn of parts. Ive broken so many cables in the 35,000 miles Ive put on Monoshock skids I cant even remember. 35.00 and your done with broken cables.

    Max air pressure?

Fox says for evol chamber 300 pis is like not having the chamber, I saw a video where they recommend 225 as starting point for evol. The floats dont require crazy pressure once they are revalved. The factory valving on front floats honestly does nothing. If you jump it and ride aggressively it...

    XTX Suspension Upgrade from Hygear

The reason dual chamber works well on rear shock is it allows you to run little more pressure in main chamber so that sled can be higher in stroke and have more usable travel but also doesnt firm up as fast as shock without dual reservoiur and you can fine tune bottoming with air pressure in...
