Set your shocks extremely soft to start, and work up from there. That's the generally standard way to dial them in.
Be aware that with air shocks, temperature has an effect on the pressure as well. That's a big knock on those shocks. So if you are looking for perfection it's a moving target...
I used this as my guideline;
Awesome video, and mine looks pretty much perfect. Clean it a LOT with rubbing alcohol and clean paper towel, and use the dry fitting for the entire sled, and the technique where they apply the tape to the middle and stick half at a time. It's genius! Honestly...
The Viper is kind of the same. Not a lot of people wrapping them. If you email e-Sticky he will send you all of his wrap designs and you can work with him if you want that as well I think. When he sent me the Viper stuff I noticed most wraps actually said Sidewinder anyways. But there's nothing...
Whoa... $6-700 per helmet? And it looks like a Kickstarter campaign? It had better do EVERYTHING better than EVERYBODY for that kind of cha ching.
They sure do look nice though. ;)
I will be selling my F3's complete with HyGears ASAP, in case anybody is looking. As mentioned, they work fantastic. Couldn't pass up a chance to upgrade to QS3's though...
Get to know the prices for a good 120 QNA when you see a deal, or even a fair price, you'll have to jump. I missed a few before we got one. The Arctic Cat / Yamaha is the best IMHO. Polaris and Ski Doo don't have as good suspension, or so I've been told. And they haven't changed them in years...
Watching them on Kijiji they are selling at about $14500 if they are clean, picked, and have warranty left. Trade in should be well under that so you can go from there, but you save tax on the trade in amount. Hope that helps.
I'm gonna go the other way, away from the Sno Scoot. I lost my license to print money so I bought a used ZR120 for my son at 4 1/2. He started with governor on and it was plenty fast to learn. He still rode it into trees and off snow banks, ended up on his head a couple times. I'd rather he...
They usually factor in room for error. Our car had a grace period of 500km on an 8500km oil change interval and there's an oil change place on every corner. That shouldn't be any issue at all.
Thanks for clarifying! I was tossing my couch cushions in anticipation of finding that kind of chump change! ;)
I seriously thought maybe I had a seizure and was waking up in a world with parity again. Thanks for clarifying.
I get confused easily by the model letters. Probably because I'm not too bright ;) LTX SE?
But a friend bought the 137" with Zero Pro 1.5 (non QS3) for $15,600 plus tax. Parkway in Collingwood I think? Watching the used prices of 2017's vs where the new prices are going, there are a lot of guys...
I have them on my fronts and really like it. I can honestly not feel any difference between them and the Evol RC2s I had on before that. I CAN most definitely feel a difference between them and regular F3s. I run them around 60 and have been caught over extending my talent coming into moguls and...
