They found a boost leak. That was the reason only getting 7900 rpms out of it. Now she is running a lot better but I am still short on rpms 8600 to 8750. TD 270 tune stock can with Dalton weights (empty), all stock Yamaha springs. 1.75 137 back country track. Any ideas?
My problem is I had to take it to a place that specializes in turbos. The dealer had no idea. The dealer has been really good though. No complaints with them.
The rest of the story is snowmobiling season is to short for a working person to have the sled sit in a shop waiting to be fixed. It kind of takes the fun out of it.
I got it out. Now I need to try and dry the gauges out. You would think it would be sealed better than what it is. Once I get it dry hopefully everything will work, I will seal it tight myself.
I am dropping the sled off this weekend at Priceless Performance. They should be able to figure it out quickly. They are the experts. If I can feel that pull a couple more times this winter, It might be enough fix to get me until next winter.
I work in Cadillac. And I have never heard of them. Priceless in Gaylord did my programming. I was going to call them and try to get it up there but Saturday is the only day I can take it. Would you recommend Martin Powersports? Will they check the sled out or do they just program?
There is just no rhyme or reason behind it. The rpms slowly drop off over a few hours or less of time. I figured the stock spring's were to weak and after running a bit lose there tension or strength. I have no way to test for a boost leak. Can the dealer do that because I had it to them and...
Stock springs. This is what I have on a 2018 Sidewinder with an 1.75 back country track with a stock can. This morning 11 degrees, flat hard pack trail. Pin it runs right up to 8950 rpms, pulls like a freight train. Smile from ear to ear.
An hour or two later snow is lose, warmer by 5 or 10...
Will not turn off. I shut the sled off and pull the key. It keeps flashing Genesis 4 stroke. I have to pull the ignition fuse for overnight so the battery will not go dead. Anyone know what could cause this? What do I need to fix this? I do have the Turbo Dynamics 270 program in this. Would that...
