i changed spindles and upper arms only on a 17 xtx - was worried about the skid needing upgrades also but to my surprise, it launched better, dosent raise the skiis so much, its faster in a race because of that, and does everything else on trail and off trail, better... nice upgrade for sure!

ya - and a track and drivers as theyre 3.0 with 141 - or u could do the 146... thats 2.86. not sure how that one works yet - luv that 141 tho...

best 100 dollar upgrade u can do - more top speed, lasts more than twice as long, better fuel mileage, and u have to use your break more often till u relearn how to ride... they r slippery! i took all the wheels out of skid except 2 in front on an xtx... dont need em with duponts... they come...

xtx is a blast - i hear u can run a stiffer front skid shock spring from bill mohr to help this on the 137 but id do the 141 . u wont be sorry and youll drop quite a few pounds... and u wont have to mess with the tunnel length.. u can remove all the wheels in the middle as well. id run duponts -...

1.86 is fine with a 1.75 track, that should give u like 5/16 penetration - i run 1.75 studs in a 1.6 two ply cobra which is actually a 1.5,, no tunnel protectors - with the 3.0 8 tooth driver, theres plenty of room to heat exchanger and up top, u wont need tunnel protection unless u go more...
