just called my dealer....still showing Yamaha seat heater on back order. Not sure any difference between CAT and Yamaha for seat heater..guess it will sit and wait until it comes in...no hurry as snow is all gone!

2 sidewinders and 1 cat at dealer for all same issue service dept told me. Guess wiring gets brittle or wears worn and shorts out. Guess common problem according to dealer.
