Swear by them. The wind protection makes every glove I own good enough on a cold day, and my good gloves great. The material has also stood up well. I will admit that with a riser they don't look as good on the sled, if my bars were higher I'd likely take them off on 'warm' days.

How much airflow is there through the radiator when the sled is moving, and the fan is off? If it is significant the shroud may not be a good idea. If it isn't...
Looking for a second pair of Sinister X5s with yellow, photochromatic (clear/blue) or a clear lens. The fit with the 509 helmet is too good to bother trying another brand of goggles and I needed something for low light and night riding.
