Just solved the problem, air hose from air filter was getting oil residue so when I mashed the throttle it was restricting the air flow and the computer was going into ‘limp’ mode. Oil tank was slightly overfilled from the factory causing it to get into the air box. Sent from my iPhone using...

My 2018 did the same thing, cleared the 2nd time out but started to run hot and ended up melting the thermostat housing. Dealer said thermostat failed.

Had my 2018 Sidewinder out this last weekend and after 180 miles it started to overheat. Had to baby it back to the hotel and brought it right back to the dealer when I got home. Found out the thermostat melted the plastic housing.

I have a 2018 Yamaha Sidewinder 50th Anniversary and was trying to research the best stud option, any recommendations?
