Thanks everybody, I am still a bit on the fence but leaning towards a stock power sidewinder LE with less than 1k miles and warranty. I am not picky on track length but like the better shocks and warranty length. I have gone through plenty of the sidewinder section on here and while they have...
Thanks,
I think I could find a 17 and maybe 18 sidewinder in my price range, most seem to have a warranty on them as well which is attractive. Have you rode a sidewinder and compared it to your viper? I test drove a 16 Viper with a 141 on it, I think it was DLX? I like the sled but wanted more...
Well I am at a point in my life that I am ready to come back to my Yamaha roots and trail riding. Been riding the mountains for 10 years now and have owned many mountains sleds and ridden all over the Rockies. I am ready to purchase a trail sled for trail riding in WI/UP and just rent a mountain...
It was great to me you and talk about your SRX for a long time. Thanks for taking the time and showing it to me and my buddy! Definitely put the inch back on me to get back on my triple.

Hopefully be back soon, looking for a 4 stroke replacement for my viper for the trails in the Midwest. Still love my doo for the deep stuff, just have to keep the warranty up to date on it.
That is one way. Only problem our group has found with riding to big sky from West Yellowstone is you waste too much fuel on the trail.
Two solutions we have found; one is get a few 5 gallon gas can (depending on the number of people in your group), hide them where the groom trail ends then...
Just checked with the shop and it was almost all first Gen boots that had problems.
The new motorfist boots are called "Stomper" and I think retail is $200. Planning on getting a whole suit from them this year and might add these boots to it. Have heard nothing but good about their product...
If you look back at my build I rode the mtn tamer in SW WI and the UP a lot and had ice scratchers along with front wheels and went though a pair of slides in ~1000 miles. Pretty sure the front wheels did nothing and it was all the scratches the kept my slides from wearing. Only negative about...
