So at 3800mile the upper chaincase bearing #*$&@ the bed.. Caught it early so didn't take out any gears or damage cases.. Sucks cause I checked it last yr when I updated bushing in upper gear and looked fine... Anyways is the Yamaha replacement a better bearing?? I've read other post about Fag...

I know this subject has been beat to death. But when I do a search on this the discussion are from a few years ago and just stop . I've tried a cple different led bulbs in my 14 viper and while they are bright I pretty much just use low beam cause high is worth less. I made my own on the fly...

I ended up just replacing the top gear bushing. Inspected wobble bearing and seemed in good shape so left it in there. O ly 3500 miles on my 14 viper so from the reading I have done I should be good for quite some time. Lol!!

Was this part number for FAG bearing? 2206K.TV.C3

So the FAG or SKF are really no better?

Good day all. Havent been here in awhile. 14 viper and been reading about these chaincase issues. i ordered bushing for top gear. But thinking i may replace wobble bearing while im in there. just throughly confused on what one to go with. Iv seen FAG bearing SKF or just get a stock yamaha one...

Did you have any trouble with heat from the magnaflow?? Thats my only concern. So was gonna wrap in heat tape.

Thanks for reply. I almost tried this a few years back with a performance muffler for rice burner. But it was straight threw so figured it be loud. Im gonna fab it up today. So we shall see. This is what happens when theres no snow and i have no fabrication work at my shop. Lol!!
