Recently bought a 2016 RST90 Venture, 144' track with 1500 Kms (930 miles). Severe darting by my experience. Front ski shocks are maxed out when I bought it. Wondering what any of you have done to make this sled more enjoyable. Apparently snow trackers for the double keel skis are not sold as a kit Total price for hardware tax in would be $460.
Kind of out my current budget.
TIA

In fact what looked like the shocks were maxed out, they were not at all. I loosened them perhaps three turns until the shock was loose, so just snugged them to tighten the shock so it wouldn't rattle.

i would try setting the suspension up 1st. make sure you still have carbides on the skis. most guys set them up with the longer carbide on the outside of the ski.
my set up for that sled (brother had 2013 rs venture gt) is, set rear torsion springs on full soft for 1 up riding. turn up as needed when carrying a passenger. then with weight off of sled, set the spring tension on the front skid shock so that the spring is stiff to turn by hand on the shock. i then set the front ski shocks so that the a arms are almost parallel to the floor with all the weight on the sled. i then confirm that the skis are set for 1/8" toe out on the tips/forward carbide stud. the clicker on the rear shock you set to your comfort.

I have a 2016 vector xtx with the tuner ski's. I had violent darting recently so I finally put on single keel yamaha's with woody's dooly's. Never had or have that violent darting on those days the trails are just right to make that happen with Tuners.

Not sure I quite understand what you're trying to say, sorry. Are you saying there's nothing that can be done with those tuner skis to alleviate the darting? Or you changed your setup and you're very pleased?

I don't know if anything can be done to stop the violent darting I had with certain trail conditions. I think some said try Snowtrackers, etc. For me snowtrackers wouldn't work. Too aggressive. I took the Tuners off and put on yamaha single keel ski's with woodys' doolys. Since I've never had that violent darting with those over the years. And I've ridden close to 40,000 miles with single keel yamaha on my vectors and attacks.

Ok gotcha. I’m also really trying hard to stay away from Snowtrackers. I’ve since taken pressure off my skis and centre shock. Made a big difference but still darting when lots of ski ruts. Have yet to check 1/4 inch toe out, probably this week.I don't know if anything can be done to stop the violent darting I had with certain trail conditions. Will contemplate single keel skis too
