Sorry about the confusion, I know 7/8 is the diameter. I'm looking for the width (end to end) of the top of the "8HB-23813-00-00 COLUMN, STEERING 2"
this pivot post only found on RTX model should be around 5 inches or so.... need to find the width so I can get the right width riser to mount...
Looking for the width measurement of the top of the steering stem-- where the riser attaches.
Looking at putting the pivot style post on Nytro MTX and need to see if my riser block will fit.
Thanks
Better boards are distributed by Western Power Sports- a distributer that most dealers have access to. If you have a buddy at a dealership he can hook you up. That's why I went with BB and the consensus seems to be that they are stiffer- something the Nytro needs
I see what you mean about the Cat skid:
http://www.arctic-cat.com/snow/chassis-floatskid.asp
looks very similar to the Timbersled setup. Wonder what the cost/ weight issues are on the Artic Cat compared to the Timbersled. There is a certain convenience factor of bolting up a Timbersled...
Looking for as many mechanical advantages as I can get to make up for my lack of riding skills.
I have a 2009 Nytro MTX and still have a tendency to occasionally trench it. Granted my skills are still lacking, but it seems that this is not a problem exclusive to beginners.
I understand...
the skinz plate and yamaha float plate have slightly different shapes (i.e. yamaha has small cut-outs for lower A-arms) and mounting holes. Maybe the Yamaha plate is made by skinz but they look like different shapes
Anyone tried the Yamaha FX Nytro Vent kit part # SMA-8GL26-PT-00 ?
Supposed to address this issue. Comes with four pre-cut/ fitted screens, retails for $57.95.
1. Does the kit work as well as pre-filter
2. Does it cost a lot more than pre-filter, or is it comparable?
