Anyone try 23/38 gears with 8 tooth drvers?
Will those gears work with the stock chain?
03 RX-1 159" track 8 tooth anti rachet drivers
14lbs to 19lbs of boost.
is that gearing up to much?
Any thoughts would be great.
This was FREAKS response in Tubo vs Supecharger Thread
You need to whatch a couple videos and see what Freaks sled can do!
INCREDIBLE!!!! ;)!

Big boost is for racing, not your average sport riding. There is no such thing as a race sled you can ride, or a trail sled you...
Talk to FREAK! He can explain everything to you.
:ORC :home: :moon:
FREAK has one of the fastest sleds around and can ride it everyday!!
He runs NOS ALSO! :nos
I have them on my '03 RX-1 mtn also. I weigh 320 lbs fully geared and my boards are still straight after 4200 miles.
This is the first sled i have owned the has not bent, (YET).
I am a fatty so they will bend sometime. :o|
Most of us are mountain riders and we need the same response as you are talking about. WE ARE GETTING IT. :o| Boondocking is alot of fun with no lag and in my opinion if we had the Lag that everone talks about we should just stay on the trail and only climb straight up hills or go across a lake...
This is my Bad, SORRY Rob you where talking about running with ROY and his Bender Turbo.
The day I am talking about Robs sled was Tuned by TJ's and running good.
Rob get on here and help me out.
The 1 day Rob and I rode there where about 15 people there, he just got the sled back from TJ's and he was running 14lbs to 15lbs of boost. I rode the sled and saw this, he did not blow the blower belt and was not having a butt load of problems. First I don't care if he beats me or not, I bleed...
I ride at that elevation in Colorado & Wyoming. The Snowies in Wyoming, (Snowy Range) where I live we unload our sleds at 9,200'.
I put the Pyro right after the Turbo.
The 4 stoke Turbo/Supercharger is incredible and it is just amazing how reliable they are.
:4STroke: :yam:
Yes your right, I am just happy with the Mods I have done to try to get rid of the Lag & alot of people bash the Bender kit. It is a completly differen't sled after tinkering for a couple of years. Those guy's at BI and Fairview are in a different game than the average Turbo rider, 26lbs to...
Well I think I will leave it alone. It really runs well now and I am not a flatlander so flat out speed is not important unless I get beat. I just have to remember this is a Mountain Sled not a Top End Race Sled. :o|
But it is pretty fun having a sled that does very well in both places in Long...
Your right I do have some Lag but if I can beat a supercharger out of the hole you need to tell me what that means?? If there is a problem of not running a intercooler at evevation don't you think something might have happen to my motor about 4,000 mile ago?
I am having a blast with my sled and...
I need some advice.
I was wondering what gearing you would sugest for me.
I have an 03 Rx-1 Bender rear mount Turbo running 19lbs of boost. 159 camo track, Fabcraft rear skid and 8 tooth extrovert drivers. I ride from 8,000ft to 11,000ft.
I am 6' 7" & about 330lbs with my gear on.
I have...
There is nothing wrong with the Bender Kit. You just have to tune it and there are tricks to get rid of the Lag. All I do is Climb and bash powder and my set up is great. Ask Rob T who has one of TJ's top running supercharged Apex.
My rear mount bender turbo RX-1 beat him out of the hole, (but...
Nothing compares to the Power and reliability of the Turboed Yamaha motors. I am 6'7" & 340lbs in gear and there is not a sled that can touch my Turbo unless it is another Yamaha Turbo where I ride.
I don't have to work on my sled, I just put good gas in and ride. 3,500 miles Turboed, 18lbs...
4strokes are better than2 Thanks,
That is more what I am looking for. Do you have any more Pic's? I did not see any on the Website you gave.
I order the steering reocation kit from Wildchild with a 3" taller steering post so I think I will put the speedo in the hole left behind then put my 2...
I want to do WildChilds Rider Forward and get rid of my Light & Pod off the hood. Thinking about putting the speedo in the hole left from the forward design but I have my Boost/Pyro & Air/Fuel gauages to mount so I don't have any wires on my hood. Just would like some ideas (Pic's) if possible...
