...Been warm here for a few weeks as well...looked dismal....however, been getting a good snow layer the past day or so...hoping for a few more rides ...
I use a storage bag made by a company called T-Bag...have used it for many years on my motorcycle ...with the angled bottom , it fits the rack well on the MP...carries a good load and attaches with it's own straps....leaves a bit extra room on the rack for a few extras as well.
Thanks for that...never knew about ice scratchers that went on the ski... doing some research on them...had been looking at the Yamaha TRIC Ice Scratchers....
.....was riding in light snow and ice conditions two up... overheating light came on...pulled over and let engine cool down and after several stops made it back home without further incident....machine checks out ok..oil, etc...my friends tell me that installing ice scratchers would help throw...
Lots of great ideas in this thread..Mooseman even got me googling ZDDP....!....this is what I did for my oil change..
... oil change on my 2016 MP....once side covers/ air box was off, the filter was accessible ...but I needed a really good grip on it with a open jawed filter removal...
..Which KOSO gauge model number did you purchase Mooseman?...is it the Mini 3? ...nice install...!

Looks like a nice install Mooseman..have been considering a temp gauge ....had a lot of rain lately that took away quite a bit of snow and left everything hard packed and ice.....some of my friends have gone to ice scratchers to help cool their machines....this has been a strange winter....some...

...haven't ridden mine enough to give an opinion on yet.....but can add that I to really find the seat and ride very comfortable..I had to reread the manual on adjusting the hand and thumb warmers..like YukonMP said ...".you need oven mitts" if they are set high...

..the bottom stock plate remains...the two middle allen head bolts stay..the 4 outside are replaced with longer ones to accommodate the spacers and heavy plastic plate...the float front plate is removed and discarded...4 rivets..

..I have just added a Ultra skid plate to my 2016 Venture MP...with the cylindrical spacers for the four engine bolts..it wasn't an easy install for me...had a lot of difficulty lining up the bolts and holes...instead of a easy, short install; it turned into a couple hours for me to get it all...
