Put a new O2 sensor this morning, Bosch from Amazon for like $33 bucks.
When I start sled, it takes about 50 seconds for code to go away and AFRs to start to reading. The old one would do it in 15 seconds. Are the Bosch sensors junk?
We only have about 5 inches, but a few clubs passed the pan on the rr beds. I went out and put about 80 miles today and conditions were less than ideal, but it sure did feel good to get some seat time in. Nothing like a few 130mph burns to clear your head!! Lol
I had one go bad and looking at datalog, the AFR would jump from 8 to 25 and back to 8 repeatedly. The CL would spike and fall according to the AFR jumps.
Try searching for asphalt drivers by 'Avid Products.". Look under Arctic Cat Procross, which is same as sidewinder. Their drivers are cnc machined and balanced.
My opinion, extroverts are not necessary,, unless in the mountains and/or under extreme conditions.
My opinion, Yamaha 14.5mm rollers are best, but very pricey.
For the average trail rider, I think the Thundershift are a good option when comparing function and cost.
Well I own and have tested every weight Dalton makes....along with a shelf full of helixes and springs. Here are my opinions:
Dalton QAY Weights are my favorite, but a stock sled with QAY 70 weights will not work well. They will tie it up the motor too much and it will be low on rpm. Sled...
I'll help you out. Try this:
Primary Clutch: Yamaha blue/brown/blue spring with Dalton QAY Weights and 1/4 slug screwed all the way to the tip. Advise where rpm lands.
Secondary: Yamaha or Dalton straight 35 helix with Dalton black/orange spring set at 80 degrees (6-2)
