I agree, have had them on my sidewinder for a few years now and time to do the Viper. Bell crank bushings have been done for a few years as well. Super nice products from Val @ Mainway.
That would be a good set up for off trail riding, not one for trail riding. I like my skis planted, as in zero ski lift...period! It might look cool to lift your skis off the snow at will, but that equals a very poor handling sled. No thanks!
Nothing out there to upgrade too. What guys are doing is when the bushing starts to wear is upgrade to a better bushing...pretty cheap as well. Shift pads are plastic stock, DMC makes a brass shift fork pad. Plastic does get brittle over time and will break, brass is forever...
We have 4 Vipers in our group, all have the latest flash. We run 87 mostly but sometimes 91 is all there is. I can say all 4 Vipers have never had the dreaded starting issues, on occasion you will have it, but it's not very often.
2 trips, 12 days of riding and just over 2400 miles for the season. Split time on the Viper and sidewinder with the Viper getting the most love this season at 1400 of those miles.

Rich, Performance??? so hard to say, a couple of ponies is hard to tell by the seat of the pants. I took it off because I found out that I don't like sound louder than stock.....lol must be getting old. I wish the stock muffler on the Viper was as quite as the sidewinder muffler. I just enjoy...
I have one as well, like viper dean said they are very well built. Sound is louder than stock when on the flipper but not obnoxious, pretty tame when cruising. It has a great tone to it and no drone.
So I ran the same redline belt for it's second season, it has close to 5,000 miles on it. It will now be a spare as I'm sure it is still in good shape.
