Who is able to rebuild ohlins shock nowadays?

Unfortunately getting something like shocks to the states is prohibitively expensive these days unless you are driving down. Otherwise Cannondale would get my work too!

Wake up Raptor Forum!!! (Looking for an opinion)

Was it that the back end was loose or that the front end steered heavy? I used to race 3 wheel (ATCs) so I am very familiar with the feeling of the solid axle rear.

Wake up Raptor Forum!!! (Looking for an opinion)

The guys I would ride with are putting in 50-100km days, none of them are super serious about ATV riding, not like they are about snowmobiling. Half of them would avoid a mud hole, the other half would happily spend half the day winching each other out of them (no thanks). I would probably get...

Wake up Raptor Forum!!! (Looking for an opinion)

Don't get, appreciate, or understand the big mud hole thing. I grew up riding big razorback sand dunes, desert, and fire roads. The mud holes were those things you rode around.

Wake up Raptor Forum!!! (Looking for an opinion)

What changed in 2015 for the 700? I hadn't considered the 450, specifically because it was described as an even more pure sport quad but I guess it all comes down to how you want to ride. I have ridden race prepped dirtbikes in the past and they are no fun for casual trail riding. Sound...

Wake up Raptor Forum!!! (Looking for an opinion)

Thinking about buying a raptor for a summer project. Looking for opinions. I always am going to go for something on the sporty side even when my body says otherwise. My recent bike was a BMW K1600 GT and previous to that a series of sport bikes, the sled a winder and an apex before that, and I...

They do after awhile. 109 I think was peak.

Looks like a new display/GPS in the works?

Here is hoping that the data coming to the gauge is just the un-obfuscated canbus data and they haven't come up with some way to lock it all down. If so, the garmin itself is just an android tablet which is what the garmin guy at the toronto show stated.

    1,000ft

The other videos I have seen have the boost leaving pretty badly on the doo but I think that is primarily setup at this point. With so little snow I don't think you will see any well setup comp-Rs until next season. Yes, the dream-o-meter is pretty bad on the doos.

I think front shocks change with the change in spindles but @cannondale27 would know.

    No Online Sno Check

$2,000... maybe not. In canada its only a $500.00 difference and yes, its worth that. On the US site it shows a $1k difference between LE and GT. The SE is 2k less and the only reasons to buy the SE is budget and you want to put that $2k towards non-fox shocks (Elka). I would say that is...

    No Online Sno Check

The LE is the one to get, it has the better shock package.

    ADAPT Verses TAPP

Oh, I agree, I hadn't really looked at the adapt until you pointed it out but yes, the forces would increase substantially. There is also a secondary effect which is that the force required to move the clutch will no longer be linear. Gained a reduction in inertia to get the clutch spinning, may...

    ADAPT Verses TAPP

By centerline you mean measurement from the buttons to the center of axial rotation (center of the clutch)? Yes, there is more pressure/friction there but materials these days are capable of very high pressures without loss of friction. I suspect that the button will be better than roller for...

    ADAPT Verses TAPP

you mean the distance from the center of the clutch itself?

    153 and 146 skid

Your best bet is to go to Yamaha parts and compare the two. The chassis are identical.

    ADAPT Verses TAPP

I think its more likely that in changing the clutch they actually put some effort into the new one. I don't think I have ever heard of PB80 performance gains, only durability and simplicity (and they are quieter).

    Highest Speeds on Sidewinder/Thundercat

We have OPP set up at the trailer loading road near the local trail. I have seen them do the slow down gesture to tell someone to slow down before they point the gun at them. Usually you get the 'lets keep the trails safe' speech which is perfectly fine by me. I haven't seen them hand out a...
