    TAPP Primary Spring

Who's running the Blue Primary Spring with your TAPP Clutch? I just ordered a new TAPP for my '23 LTX LE w/EPS and it was suggested to me to go with the Blue primary spring (100/190) vs. the black primary (140/210) spring. From TAPP: We recommend the change for to Blue for reliability, the...

    Sidewinder trail tank

I would love to have 12 gallon tank! I just looked at the Trail Tanks. The one draw back looks like you won't be able to use the tunnel bag as storage, so may have to consider the Linq option for bags, etc. I bought the saddle bags which should provide some really good storage and then maybe...

2022 Sidewinder ltx eps - getting rid of push

Ha, it certainly is a nice feeling! This sled really becomes such a nice high mileage sled now, day after day, without getting fatigued. Like I said, problem is, I no longer get a nice workout on the weekends. I really love the combination of EPS and these Command skis.

2022 Sidewinder ltx eps - getting rid of push

Well I think you hit it on the head Knapp. With EPS on this sled, we have many great options to choose from for precise steering in many different conditions whether it's Slydog, Ski Doo 5.7R, Curve, C&A, SLP, etc. I am starting to stack up a pile of different skis and carbides as well. What's...

2022 Sidewinder ltx eps - getting rid of push

Glad you liked them. I have about 1,600 miles on mine now and absolutely love them in all conditions. I wonder how these would be on the non-EPS sleds using BOP mechanical power steering. I was thinking about putting both on my other Sidewinder for my son's sled. I may have to try this for...

2022 Sidewinder ltx eps - getting rid of push

Glad you were able to finally get out on your '23 LTX LE!!! How do you like the EPS.....nice isn't it? I pretty much keep the clickers on #2. Agree that #1 is a bit too soft. I may look to have them revalved to have 3 useable positions, as #3 seems way too stiff, with #1 a bit too soft. Did...

2022 Sidewinder ltx eps - getting rid of push

On my ‘23 LTX LE, I didn’t take the time to set up my suspension as my previous Sidewinder as I just wanted to get out and ride. Well, I had tons of push and inside ski lift. I finally took the time last weekend to make the suspension adjustments like my other Sidewinder, and just like others...

Anyone trail riding with slydog command skis?

It took 8 days from the time I ordered to delivery. They literally showed up at 8pm at night and we were leaving for our trip the next morning at 8am.

Anyone trail riding with slydog command skis?

Limiter is in stock hole, which I believe is 1 from full length. I've been thinking of moving to the last hole (longest length) like I have on my other Sidewinder with my Elka Stage 5's, but I haven't gotten around to that yet. I might just wait until next year once I have my skid out and send...

Anyone trail riding with slydog command skis?

I have over 1,200 miles on my Slydog Command skis now. I just bolted them on without adjusting any toe. I put 850 miles on during one trip using the 8" Snow Studs Magnum round bars. I liked them, but had a little darting under deacceleration. I ordered a pair of 6" Shaper bars thanks to...

    2022 EPS Power Steering review

I just ordered a pair of shaper bars to try out. Now we just need some snow after this warm spell. So glad I was able to get our trip in and do 850 miles of smiles.

    2022 EPS Power Steering review

Great thanks! I may have to get a pair of shaper bars and give them a try. I also need to adjust my center shock and take out some preload.

    2022 EPS Power Steering review

Thanks for the tips. I would recommend the Slydog skis over the Stryke skis if using EPS. I'm sure they are more of an aggressive ski, so without power steering they would probably be a bit tougher to turn.....but I don't 100% know for sure. With EPS, I don't notice any more or less steering...
