Perhaps a covid supply issue. AC site shows using same torsion springs for MY21 and MY22 on non ATAC regular Thundercat, ATAC or EPS. The same ones they used for MY20 for non ATAC.
3704-380
3704-381
Then for MY23 they show EPS with ATAC model going back to using spring they used in ATAC 2020...
I was told the twisted dual springs don't lower the front as much as an SRX\thundercat multi-rate spring. Or perhaps when you ordered, Hygear already took this into account?
Edit: I see your previous post when you say you cranked the preload to get 2.5" sag when previously you had 3" to 3.5" sag.
Just to update my thread from last year, now that the '22 part numbers have been out for a while and confirmed, LTX GTs EPS has same front and rear torsion springs as MY20+ SRXs. For fun, anyone park both side by side and confirmed similar ride height? Get the SRX guys a bit jealous.
LTX GT EPS...
With QS3-R's? Did you get/have Thundercat rear torsion springs too to lower the rear? Or did you do like the GT's with power stearing with lower front but regular height torsion in the rear? Is 2.5" sag same as SRX/Thundercat multi-rate springs?
To bad hygear don't sell them in black. :dunno:
Not much residue really for me. One whipe of the pan at the end of the season. No snow/frost to build up in the end of the hose in those -20C Quebec mornings so I figured win/win...
Anyone noticed how much vapor comes out of the hose at 3/4 or full throttle by any chance? I have my bypass going under the engine on top of oil filter access door. Belly pan stayed relatively clean at the end of the season as I keep my oil level in the middle.
But I wonder if under full...
If you guys do you might not go back...
I always get a Quebec pass and every other year also an Ontario. Then I bitch that in this region Ontario trails are no good so I skip next winter. Then I give them another chance the season after and the cycles continue. lol
Did the Apex/Vectors have any secondary fuel filters? These machines are racking some very high mileage and I never heard of a fuel injector being blocked or a fuel filter needing to be changed. :dunno:
According to Yamaha, the reason why they don't have any Japan build sleds for '23 is because they have enough left overs to fulfill demand for next season.
Its been in the works for so long, they wanted to come out with it for a good 3 years now. Everyone in the know, knows by now.
So what if Knapps slips and pms all of us. Whats the harm in cranking up the heat? :)
