    Gap closed loop tuning!!

This was after a 93 mile (gps) trail ride @ 50-75 mph back in January. It was my first longish ride after loading the closed loop tunes. I took a picture of it then because I was surprised at how much fuel I still had at the end. Not scientific by any means, but I've done this ride dozens of...

    Gap closed loop tuning!!

Could show the log with boost, rpm, throttle, speed, and fuel multiplier? If you want to play the bonus round, turn on knock ping counter as well. ps. - you live in Indiana and have your speed in metric?! There is only one unit for measuring speed, and that is MPH!

    Gap closed loop tuning!!

The air fuel multiplier is pretty simple: 100% means it is doing nothing - you are getting 100% of the fuel the tune requires/was written for. 90% (just picking a number) means the closed loop is pulling 10% of the fuel being supplied - you only need 90% fuel to hit the target a/f ratio. 115%...

SRX vs Mach Z does this seem accurate ?

And I agree that stock-stock the Winder better be on point or it is not going to go well. Even then I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the Winder. With proper traction, launch control, and a bit less weight, the Mach is going to leave hard. Tuned is a different story; I just don't think there's...

SRX vs Mach Z does this seem accurate ?

Guys that care about racing don't leave their sleds stock, and anybody who is actually fast doesn't give a sh!t about how their sled lines up stock against the competition. The deck is stacked against the 900 motor. BRP has sharpened the knife, but you're still coming to a gun fight. With an...

SRX vs Mach Z does this seem accurate ?

I'm looking forward to seeing some of these sleds out on the lakes next year. Like all sleds, some guys will get them working better than others, and I think Doo has given the guys who tune a better platform to start from. There will be some quick Mach Z's next winter, no doubt about that.

Closed loop - Any 02 sensor issues?

Don’t know why, but something in my sensor didn’t like the violent smack of the primary sheaves coming together at ~9k. A/F was working fine up until the belt blew. How did I know it failed? The numbers in my cluster that used to indicate a/f ratio were replaced by a flashing SD_24 code.

Closed loop - Any 02 sensor issues?

Been running the same O2 sensor for 3 full seasons and it was fine until a few weekends ago when I blew a belt out at WOT. Bosch 17025.

    RPM Drop at WOT Hot?

No, not blowing out. The plugs I just pulled look perfect, and we’re gapped when I put them in last year. I haven’t done my ROV bypass yet, so not sure if it’s related to the oil mist goo becoming part of the combustion process, the octane boost I run, or neither. what I do know is that for...

    RPM Drop at WOT Hot?

Yeah, you'd think. The sleds will start, idle, and run fine at cruising speeds: the sled feels completely normal. Out on the lake they will be down a few hundred rpm and you'll think it is a clutching issue (and sometimes it is) but you'll be surprised how much the sled wakes up with fresh...

Probably, I'll take a look. If not, I'll make some for you this weekend.

    RPM Drop at WOT Hot?

You can see that it correlates to a lean spike if a/f, which I assume is the reason it pulled timing. Why, I don't know, but it's an outlier in my logs so not too concerned about it.

Second screen shot was yesterday. Temp was -1c. First screen shot was about -6c. Just checked the log for the 1st screen shot and IAT was 73 at time = 1217.

    RPM Drop at WOT Hot?

Couple of logs to illustrate this. First is 2 weekends ago, pulled out onto the lake after a 20 minutes trail ride and gave it a pull. No rpm, didn't stay in it long. Tried another pull, same result: Yesterday - same sled, same clutching, very similar temp/snow conditions: Only...
