I got an email from Yamaha in December of 2019 stating that they had a new 2020 ECU flah available for SR Viper 1049cc snowmobiles. I took my sled over to the local dealer that day and said I wanted the 2020 flash. They laughed and said their isn't one so I showed them the email. They checked...
Holy $#!+, I finally found an answer to why the clock on my Apex keeps resetting to 1:00 - Thank GOD!!! Thanks for putting this thread on here. I thought the exact same thing that the backup fuse was for the backup beeper. Whew, this issue has been taxing my brain and skills to the point that I...
If it does not have obvious issues then you are good to go and I would not worry about it. I have had my 2014 since new with no starter issues and I always hold the key in start position a bit after it starts.

Did anyone else look deep into the chain case side of the right footwell and notice the chain case was replaced with a belt drive!!! The one CAT rep we talked to confirmed it was a belt drive but would not go into details of it. I am guessing they could go to a belt drive now that they are...

I used the Dorman actuator and created a full write-up on it which this link takes you to. I have had mine in since that write-up and had zero problems with it.
Wouldn't miss it. Staying Friday - Sunday in the Chicken Coop campground. I wonder if Polaris is even going to show up now that they issued a Ride/Sale Stop due to the fuel tank issue they have had over the last decade that covers about 230K sleds. If I was an affected Polaris owner I would be...
I have the same concern about galling but, I wanted to use the SST riv-nuts as it is easier to replace a rusted fastener that it is a rusted riv-nut. I am going to try the SST fasteners and if I experience galling then I am going to revert to a black oxide coated fastener and replace them as...
