I mostly use Mobil 1 and get it at Walmart, usually cheaper then Canadian tire. Use it on the Nytro and the winder, zero issues in over 12,000 miles with both sleds. Believe it is on sale now for $29.97

I used mine last winter tuning my nytro not my winder. I made 36 660ft runs in -2c temps. No issues with battery life. I ran it in my pocket with no issues.

Thread is a few yrs old, like to see some more wraps as i plan on doing mine this summer.

How can I correct this? Skis tip up when front if sled is off the ground. Running a 6 inch carbide, but that would have no effect in the feild as the carbide wasn't bitting into anything as it was soft going. Both nytro and winder had the same effect in deeper snow where ski was floating.

Well..took the skis off the nytro and put them on the winder. Today was fresh groomed trail at 0c, trail turned to soup quickly. On trail the skis seemed to work well no push, or darting and tracked straight steering seemed light(i have cat center spring) but off trail is not good. We received...

Thanks was wanting to try that angle this year but such shitty winter when i did get to ride i didnt want to test. I have a dalton black/tan that may work well with that steeper helix. Next winter.

Thanks, I haven't played with any helixs yet, just stock 35, how do you find it down low alittle doggy till spool comes on? Have to lighten the weights up a bunch with the stepper angles.

Same here, 1800 miles on but had to haul 5hrs one way to ride.
