My 17' Limited is jacked up compared to the 19' SRX I ride with, we both run Pilots and pretty much the same track ( I switched his to a Rip 2 ) so when I was dialing in his clutching the difference in the cornering was amazing. It was mentioned above but now that I have ordered those front...
My code came after programming, ran a multi tune the season before but I guess it didn't like the updated flash. As mentioned in another thread ended up with another ECU and tune(s). Just be sure to ask before you have yours programmed what the policy is if that happens.....at least the ecu's...
Not much effort required, where we ride its not like endless high speed trails, its wide roads, tight woods trails narrow with many lake crossings. Most of the time they will hide behind a tree on the shore as most of us like to test our speedometers on the lake, leaving the trail system safe...
Had one since 07' when the Fish Cops started busting everyone's balls, friends thought I was crazy until I saved them a ticket more than once. Pull down onto the lake and wait a few before crossing, amazing how sensitive even a Cobra is out in the wild, I use a handlebar ram mount.
No, I got the code by sending it in for an update, guess I should have left it alone but I upgraded to a 2 1/2 exhaust and figured I'd get the SS updated bundle while I was at it. Its a shame too, I was looking forward to seeing how much better it was. ran amazing with the SM bundle.
What do I mean? I ran a season with with the SM bundle, ran great. Heard about the "SS" update and sent it in, got the oil pressure code and sent it back in. After I got it back I had 4 different phantom codes that don't exist, oh well, #*$&@ happens....luckily the vendor went the extra mile and...
Back and forth? no, just back, the vendor who flashed both tunes forgot to mention the new tune wasn't setup for the 3 bar, putting the stock one back in solved it.
I had to run the 3 bar from Hurricane myself for my SM tunes, when I switched to the PEFI multi I wasn't told about taking it out as he uses the stock sensor. Needless to say it read no more than 10 psi even on stage 3, I put the stock one in and it was back to 16 plus, now the sensor from...
I had a pair of C&A's on a F1000 which is another heavy nosed machine, it was unnerving at 100 plus when the skis touched down and was a real handful. I put a pair of 6.7 Pilots on and it was like power steering, swapped them over to my current sled with 7.5 shapers center and 4" stock outers...
