    2023 Sidewinder wind deflectors

The install that comes with the wind deflectors does not work because it holds it to far away from the panel for the contours to match up.... You will not be happy when you have to slot those holes to mount it.

    2023 Sidewinder wind deflectors

Is not perfect, and I've switched to a mono suit instead of a 2 piece. I have also done a meduim high windshield as well as the skinz gauntlets to block the wind. Maybe it is a cumulative thing, but after riding a fellow members 2022, for a few miles, I was immediately colder and felt more "in...

    2023 Sidewinder wind deflectors

I have the cat deflectors, they keep my crotch alot warmer, I use to have issues with my package getting super cold, would start to hurt real bad in a 500km day, (lots of open field riding in a big day like that) tried all kind of different gear with different zippers, I put the deflectors on...

    Windshield

Everything with sledding is a comprised it seems. Gauntlets are easy enough to remove if you are feeling hands lol. And yes, sorry, I always seem to find trouble

    Windshield

Yesterday was a good ride! As I said yesterday, the flares are nice, keeps the cold air off my crotch, not sure what you thought of the gauntlets, but I feel like they block alot of the wind that hits my hands and body. If I break my current windshield, I'll be getting the cat one like my fathers

    EPS Conversion?

The stx gt has the manual QS shocks, so i dont have to worry about that portion. However i am concerned after reading Tcat100's post that there is something in the factory gauge that is necessary for the power steering to work.

    EPS Conversion?

I just bought a NS1 gauge for my 2022 stx gt, are you implying that i will not be able to take out the stock gauge without affecting the power steering?

    Sidewinder Alpha conversion questions

I was wondering if the 2 stroke drivers fit on the sidewinder shaft. Ya that would make it pretty easy then

    Sidewinder trail gas range.

It does not run like junk, but it does not seem to pull like it use to either. I've tried testing everything else I could think of, if I spend 2h or more to know that the timing is good, at least I will have a starting point. The exhaust seems to run pretty hot as well.....

    Sidewinder trail gas range.

I did get 200km/tank, but now i am closer to 160km, all seemed to happen after i took it to the dealer for some stub shaft warranty work. I am about to pull off the valve cover to make sure i didnt spit any shims and that my timing lines up, after that i am not sure what to do, probably the...

    Lets talk suspension set up

in deep snow, my right ski (muffler side) is almost always the one that drops under the snow and gets me stuck, which spring should i soften (or stiffen) to counteract this?

    Yet Another Ski Post

this might sound funny or left field, but do you still have the stock center spring? I have experienced something like what you are describing, but i have the 146 2" paddle track. Changing the center spring allowed me to transfer the weight quicker and "pop" the front end on top of the snow...

    Sidewinder helix

we have a sugary snow where i ride, and I switched to the thunder products helix and weights (previously Dalton weights+springs/stock helix) last year on my xtx 146, extremely smooth, extremely easy to ride slowly and has that old apex nostalgia feeling to it in the mid/upper rpm (always felt...

    Sidewinder upgrades

Or you can just drive it and get used to it first....im all for more power, but i feel it would benefit you more to get used to the sled first and add power when it starts to feel slow. The preventative maintenance is absolute in my books, as well as setting up the suspension for your...

Latest TY Tech Video. Removable Lower Panels.

I run the full skid plate, as far as the lower panels are concerned which is what the thread is about, i will use the pop pins, when it comes to the skid plate, it will likely stay riv nuts as i dont think the pop pins would last very long.....taking off the damned skid plate is the thing i...
