Trail was hard packed snow but have already seen harder than this.
115 mph or 186kmh at 10800rpm. Geared 24/38.
Stock map.
The Z1 suspension is more slippery. A friend ran 170kmh at the same place with an apex ltx 2009.
Ski left about 12-15inch for 500ft and 2-3in over 90mph.
Less heat...
Anyone did this mod?
stock carbs are 39mm.
can we oversize the carbs at 40mm? and correct the fuel with P.Commander?
We did this mod in the past on 700 triple ski-doo we had good gain.
just to know....
in my family, an apex 2011 at 14000km the donuts where destroyed. The dealer did the job but a bad job....at 18000km it cost 3000$ for doing the same same job with a big surprise....the complete Exup!
So 2011-12-13....donuts job around 10000km, maybe 15000km for some guys.
with the stock rear coil spring, its very smooth.....too smooth. I will upgrade for TZ1 coil spring.
For the cost....now, we could cut easely 5-6hrs of work....hard to say.
In my case the total is near from the half of a brand new ZX2.
Apex #*$&@ is more heavier than Z1.
This is a REAL improvement for my Apex.
No more electonic Ohlins, no more hyfax problem,
Big confort! better transfert. better feeling on the skis...feeling light on the steering.
Arctic cat Z1 LXR 2011 just 5km, 128" extended to 136" with Track USA kit.
Its Alain from AD Boivin who...
Bull, i dont know of you are talking about the same guy that i know, but the dealer did a bad job and an other dealer did a real job at 18000km and the pipe with de Exup was cracked....$$$$$$$ under warranty.
The rumors of new donuts for 2011 is big #*$&@.
Yamaha and A/C were together last spring. They are testing a new motor for both. 2 cyl turbo.
......2014 wil be the last year of Suzuki motor in A/C...
no modification on front arm and the only mod for the tunnel is 2 mounting plates similar to ad boivin mounting plates.
maybe 2 new mounting shaft also.
Next week I will install a brand new z1 2011 arctic cat rear suspension under my Apex.
The rails extensions 128 to 136 are already intalled.
Its a good friend of Ad Boivin who will install my suspension.
no more shock wirring, no more hyfax problem, better transfer....
pictures in a couple...
I will put an Z1 Turbo 2011 rear suspension on my Apex 2010.
I put the extension rails from Track USA to strech from 128 to 136.
No more hyfax problems and better suspension
I've tried ulmer kit in 2011 Apex, and the only thing that you gain is a better backshift. The rpm hit over 10000 like a gun shot.
We try also adding 3gram on the tips of the stock flyweight with o-p-o spring. it pulls very hard!
The 2011-12 Apex love to be loaded.
