Are there any good step by step write-ups on how to replace a track on a 2007 phazer? I recall seeing one like a month ago but now I cannot see to find it with the search.

My front skid shock is a Ohlins...that should be good Rear skid shock is stock with 3k on it...guess ill know if its good when I get it out

in the picture mine broke just like the Part on the right upper corner of pic. I found the exact same part un-broken for $25 shipped ...... I have access to welding stuff also..... can I buy the unbroken 07 part and reinforce it so its stronger? or is that a bad idea?

So I cant get an aftermarket billet aluminum one and install it right? I can get one from yamaha and will be updated stronger one? Im a little confused because the one shown in the pic above does not look like the broken one I have.

Doubt it.....mine has none of the other updates done to it so I doubt this rear skid one has been done either. Was it a factory recall?? Like will the dealer do it for free? The rear front shock is a Ohlins Brand so someone has been in there in the past. I just bought the sled and...

the rear shock is still mounted to the part at the base but the part broke away sorta by the grease fitting. The part with the grease fitting will just spin all the way around.

Is there anyway to just splice the wires easily and accomplish the same thing? My local dealer doesnt have the part in stock and i want to ride tomorrow. My 07 warmers barely get warm at all.

The 2007 Fx does not have the fan plug in the wiring harness correct?? So no Fan for a base 07 Fx?
