I'm not sure about how the Vector is built but on a RXI if you hit something under the oil pan without a skidplate it can pound one of the posts . that are built into the lower crankcase to hold the engine when it's out on a bench , into the oil sump and leak out the oil. There is a drain plug...
I bought a rx1 in Idaho a couple of years ago that the owner had taken to a Yamaha dealer to clean the carbs. We started it up and tried to load it on my trailer and it wouldn't even rev high enough to move. They took it back and pulled the carbs and found that the mechanic got all four carbs...
I just got done swapping everything off my badly bent up turbo sled into a unwrecked 600 mile chassis. It was a ton of work but should almost be like riding a new heavy outdated sled. This is what I started with.

I'm just guessing here that you are talking about New Old Stock or OEM and not nitrous oxide so I'll give it a try. I'm not an authorized Yamaha mechanic and it took me about an hour and a half. Did you get the factory instruction sheets with it ?
There are two or maybe 4 10mm bolts up inside the tunnel (that hold some of the plastics)that need to come off first. They are hard to see and get a socket on them.
Ken...........
I guess that the farther out from the original hole it will move the tip of the ski less so it wouldn't be so much with one full turn at a time.
Ken.......
I had to modify the mounts so the bolts would fit flush. Also had to grind the welds off the stock post for the steering stops and move it to the front so it would work. When you move the top part of the stem to the front side it changes all the mounting positions so you have to figure it out ...
I don't remember what I used. I would take an ohm meter and check the sender and see what the difference is between full and empty and go from there.
Ken............
You need to find out what what ohm range the the fuel sender works at and get a diode that is in the middle of that range and then wire it into the sender to gauge wire. If you get it in the middle your gauge will show about a half a tank and the low fuel signal won't come on.

What’s the round thing with green hoses for . Also what jetting you running now . I have the billet tees on mine already . Looking for some for another sled . For a friend. Gonna try my plumbing like yours . Mines different.
The round thing is a breather box for the blowyby and I plumbed it...
