    Methanol Injection discussion

Electric pumps like to push, not pull. Having a tank in the rear with g- forces pushing against it (or climbing a mountain) may cause starvation issues.

Yamaha was way more efficient with their use of space on the sleds they built. There's crazy room all around this motor in this chassis. I dont see why an Apex motor wouldn't fit. The water outlet on the tunnel cooler might need moved for header clearance. Wont know till you go

140hp stock. 10hp per lb of boost. So running about 240hp currently. I'll start wicking it up as I get little things sorted out. Should make more Hp per lb of boost than a stock Sidewinder due to the less restrictive and always cool intercooler. The larger more efficient turbo not working very...

Ridden a few times. Not sold on the Mohawk skis yet. Boost set at 10lbs while I sort everything out. So far it is very impressive. The combo of the turbo and stock compression is spot on. Instant response. AFRs have been dialed in nicely. Need to rebuild my Tapp before I finalize clutching. Had...

    Building the Nytwinder

This is full of fuel, coolant, oil, 2 spare belts, tools, etc. ready to ride. Weight wasn’t the main goal with this build. Durability played a slightly higher role. I know I can install a lighter muffler, some tubing can be made lighter, couple pounds here and there.

Started installing the Nytro harness into the Sidewinder chassis. Extended to reach the Hurricane upgraded fuel pump in the tank. Shortened here and there. Modified to run the intercooler pump, the Snow water meth controller, the Boost-it AIC, the Boondocker EBC, and the Dobek Gen4 AFR...

Had to cut off the Yamaha flange on the muffler and weld on a Garrett flange. Also cutting and welding of the tubing. Exhaust turbine housing was welded to the factory mount. Can also see the wastegate actuator mounted.

Started fitting the Garrett GTX2867 gen II turbo and the Hurricane header. Also the PEFI muffler and the intercooler. Only using the top half of the intercooler. It has three additional injectors and will be welded to an air to water core.

Belt drive installed. Had to space out the oil tank over the distance of the hardware provided. Had to cut down the baffles etc inside the tank to get the cover plate to fit. Had to trim the tensioner bolt shorter to clear the muffler. And had to buy a different jack shaft bearing than the one...

Had to add the speed sensor from the Nytro to the Sidewinder D-shaft so the Nytro computer will be happy. Mounted the sensor to the brake shield
