    Thanks everyone for your help. I did get a cheap gear puller and, it came right off. I'm not really sure what the problem was, there didn't appear to be any loctite on it?? Anyway, thanks again for all the suggestions. This site is great!!!!!!

    Well, I tried everything I could think of and still no luck. I was beating on it while heating it with a torch and it still wouldn't budge. I'm pretty sure that someone used loctite on it when they put it together the last time. I'm going looking for a gear puller today. I'll give that a try...

    There was definitely only one set screw in it. There were holes for two but, only one srew was in them.

    Need help

    I'm changing the track on my 03, RX-1. Everything was going good until I tried to get the bearing off of the speedo side of the drive axle. Can anyone tell me if there's some trick to getting it off? I did take the set screw out and, it was replaced last year so, it can't really be too rusted...

    EASY SLIDE REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT FOR RX 1

    Get the slides started through the track window. Start the sled and put it in reverse. Apply a little throttle and the track will peel the slides right off. Did it and it works fine. No damage to anything.
